Any other #CRPBees get bingo over our final camp weekend? I finally just got there! I'm about to set aside my drafting WIP to work on revisions for another manuscript, so maybe will get some of the revision squares and hit bingo in another direction too!

Book 3 of my trilogy comes out in just over a month. I'll dive into some new advertising tactics once I've got the full set out in the world. Candice. I can’t help but compare her to the last time I saw her, behind the wheel of her dinged-up Oldsmobile. She’d had her elbow in the window, leaning out toward me as I stood on the sidewalk carrying nothing but my JanSport (I’d spent the summer busking—poorly—to save up for it). “I don’t want you coming back,” she’d said, her unfiltered Pall Mall cigarette bobbing up and down with each word. I was only 17; the thought of calling the Department of Children and Family Services on a negligent foster parent never occurred to me. All these years later, she looks mostly the same. If anything, she looks like an exaggerated version of herself—even more tan and leathery from all those years of sunbathing in the tiny backyard. The lines in her face have deepened, making her sardonic smile that much more affecting. She’s still styling her hair with curlers and a rounded brush, sort of Farrah Fawcett-like, only it’s gotten poofier and frizzier with age. A Pall Mall droops from her lips. Huh—filtered. I guess people can change.
This got me to finally begin typing out the latest WIP, so thank you for the prompt. I've begun work on 3 important scenes; it took a day, but I finally completed this by hitting a double bingo. #CRPBees 🏕️🐝
I hope to finish revisions of my first manuscript, Becoming Liz, by July, and begin my query journey. While querying, I'll revise my second manuscript, Freda Unmasked. #CRPBees #CampRevPit
