CDC has directed the consolidation of wastewater reporting in Ohio, and so ODH regretfully had to end regular virus testing in Gambier. They will continue testing Mount Vernon plant only in Knox County. Back in 2020, Ohio was at the forefront of wastewater virus testing--and Gambier was the first site in Ohio to publish a correlation between wastewater virus levels and case numbers. Since then ODH has been extremely supportive of our village. We greatly appreciate their efforts on our behalf. Thanks to all Gambier village members for your past support of this project.
