An Ceàrdach by Kate Davies. I changed this to a topdown fingering weight sweater, in light grey background alternating the colourwork rectangular motifs in dark grey and rust coloured.

Outcrop by Rachel Illsley. I am knitting this with Kat's Riverside Studio yarn in Hunter (dark green) and Trail (beige speckled yarn). Another topdown fingering weight pattern.

Fleur by Marie Wallin. Love the bright spring-like colours of Mondim. Cream background with gold, orange, light blue, mid-blue, and green colourwork diamond motifs.

FOYAL has started. I finished my swatch and am onto the jumper. I’m making the Simple Sinister Sweater for my little human.

The colour work here is done back to front (main colour to contrast) so the cats will be sharper in the finished one.

Two colourwork handknit mittens in what was white and purple yarn. The white is now a pale pink. They're laid out on a bright green towel.

These are the mittens currently soaking. I put them in about an hour ago and that's the colour of the water after two prior washes. It's hard to see due to the green towel and awful lighting, but the white yarn is now all pale pink. 🧶

I finally finished my West of the Moon mittens. Now I can only pray I can remove the purple dye that ran. I washed them twice in cool water and it looked like a glass of Ribena. 😓 Hopefully an overnight soak will draw out most of the remaining excess dye. 🧶

A thick, warm cowl, double knit so that there are two versions. This is the "light side" where the background is lighter than the patterns. The colours are burgundy tones. The edges are created with openwork stitches.

Welcome to the dark side of the cowl. Beautiful in a different way.
