#DeepAffectionEyes keeps surprising me with how much it avoids sucking.

I'm near the end, so no details - but there was a small moment where they could have been all about default gender roles, but the let a kid just not pay attention to that! And I was so charmed.

I'm old and neither neuron is reliable, but I was pretty sure this laudable feature was present in #DeepAffectionEyes and #LovesAmbition ? Neither of which was the first #cDrama I saw to include it, iirc

#DeepAffectionEyes This angsty guy's house is so over the top with its black walls and black couch and all black books on the bookcase and a completely black jigsaw puzzle on the coffee table. The artistic vision probably isn't supposed to make me giggle.

But I agree, the chemistry between the couple in #DeepAffectionEyes (or #DeepAffectionateEyes) was very good 👍

8.75/10 Some suprisingly intelligent dialog, characters who used their words more often than not, and resolved contrived conflicts faster than is the norm. Also, the OTP was both hot and sweet - genuinely cute together and with real chemistry too. The criminal, insane Mum did NOT get a free pass, and the Drama pulled off something VERY few manage, a truly fun, sweet HEA final EPISODE for all. A stunning change from the "let's give them 5 seconds before fade to black" Had it been 24 instead of 26, I would probably have scored it a 9.5.

It's a real delight when a #cDrama you start turns out better than you expected, as happened for me with #DeepAffectionEyes

Into episode 12/26 in #cDrama #DeepAffectionEyes and it's VERY MUCH better than I expected. The OTP are cute together, and the dialog is sensible - with the ML's granny providing an excellent example here. :)

Sorry #cDrama #DeepAffectionEyes - my Mum never got this memo: My older sister said after visiting her the year before she died: "she's still the same - smokes like a chimney, drinks like a fish, mind as sharp as a tack" Whereas I don't smoke, CAN'T drink, & have a mind as sharp as Blu-Tack😢

I definitely enjoyed #TheBestThing more. It does have some heat but it takes some time to get there. The build-up is worth it. #DeepAffectionEyes happens faster. So I guess it depends on what you are after.

At least he got his woman in #DeepAffectionEyes

The second part is finished. I loved it! It was regarding quality of plot, writing, cast extraordinary imo.

#DeepAffectionEyes is a lighter romance drama which excels especially with great chemistry and fun humour inbetween.

I finished #DeepAffectionEyes (despite some darker vibes I'd see it as romcom), #RevengedLove (despite some flaws overall perfect binge), #LawAndTheCity (mostly enjoyed it).

The biggest asset was the from beginning sizzling chemistry between the main couple, the beautiful visuals and the cute little son of the friend imo! The story was darker than first expected but nothing out of the ordinary. The grandma was very lovable too! And his eyes 🫠

Things got a bit overly dramatic here at the end of #DeepAffectionEyes but we're on track for a HEA tomorrow. The story isn't a masterpiece but gave me pretty people, lots of screenshot worthy moments, cute families, friendship, plenty of kissing & healing vibes.
