CALL FOR CONTRIBUTORS: We are looking for contributions to an edited volume, provisionally entitled Postcolonial and Post-imperial Political Nostalgias and co-edited by Dr Dion Georgiou (Goldsmiths, University of London) and Dr Daniel Grey (University of Hertfordshire), to be published by Arc Humanities Press as part of its new Political Nostalgias series. While we already have a considerable list of contributors signed up for the book, we are looking for additional contributors to ensure a fair gender balance among our authors and broader geographical coverage among our chapters. We are especially keen to receive contributions on the following themes: • Nostalgia for dictatorship • Mediated political nostalgias • Memories of the subjugated We welcome 200-250-word abstracts for 6000-word chapters on this subject matter. We will consider all submissions from scholars who define themselves as women, including early career scholars. We are especially keen to receive proposals from Women of Colour. Please note, we do not currently require more chapters on British history, and we do not require North American history as there is a whole volume planned on this theme for later in the series.
