Today is #IDPWD or as I prefer International Day of Disabled People. The #DisabilityPayGap in the UK started on the 7th of November. On average Disabled people that can work have essentially been working for free for nearly a month compared to Non Disabled counterparts before today. Just a thought 🤔

Incidentally, today being #DisabilityPayGap day, while the gap between disabled and non-disabled workers in the UK widened this year from 12.7% to 17.2% per ONS (£4,300p/a on average), between able-bodied men and disabled women it's 30% (£6,800p/a). UK women's health ranks 37th globally.
