In Minrathous, on a sheer cliffside facing out into the sea, there's an enormous oval disc with 16 rays and in its center a face. The face is also oval except that the bottom comes to a sharper point. No gender markers. There's a hat, possibly, making a curved V shape at the top of the face. Its eyes are closed, the line of the lids tilted downward from side to center. Its lips are pursed and it has prominent folds etched from the nose and from below the lip.

Ghilan'nain during the Siege of Weisshaupt in Veilguard. One of her tentacles ends in an oversized hand with sharp claws, in addition to her two pairs of arms.
....Oh, the bottom left with the prominent claw is definitely Ghilan'nain, not sure why I didn't put this together.
This would also confirm that this isn't a new development (which is pretty much as suspected but still.)

I collected the #Evanuris mosaics, or at least I assume that's what these are. Notably there's 8 of them, which isn't strange as such because Mythal should obviously be counted but often we only see 7 (no Mythal or Fen'harel) or 9 (both).

A stylized dragon statue in gold. It is sitting and has its wings folded, but importantly you can see that it has 5 horns, matching Mythal's crown (plus the cheek and nose guards). There are also two kinds of carved symbols, one consisting of five parallel lines, and the other is several variations of four wavy lines that end in a spiral formed by the bottom line and another that continues it, resembling something like highly stylized wind or a cloud (though doesn't necessarily represent that)
Somebody pointed out that this one wasn't clear, so: in addition to the humanoid ones, this is a statue of Mythal:

My sort of headcanon is that kossith don't stop growing at the end of their adolescence, but it does slow down considerably until in their senior years it starts to reverse with age.
This is why their leaders tend to be and get more massive as new media comes out >:)

Two triangles pointed downward. Both have oval eyes with outer edge down as though sad, and both have a wavy stream of teal down the left eye as though tears. If you turn the masks upside down, point up, then the eyes look angry and the points look like sharp teeth. The left mask has two small triangles at top a little off each side, the right one has three with one in middle and two all the way at sides.
Dirthamen's symbol is a bottom-heavy but thin oblong vertical shape from the front, but it has a downward-curving 'tail' hidden behind it unless seen from the side. Symbols are either an I, or the I with the bottom a little wider than top, or in could be the side view of a straight-ish upward line and the 'tail' arcing down from it.
Falon'Din crown is a shield shape, i.e. a diamond shape with flatter top. The top three points have spikes extending out of them. The symbol could be a shield shape or a pentagon with spikes from the top three points.
Finally, twins Dirthamen (left) and Falon'Din (right). It HAS TO be these two almost mirror images (although this is contradicted).
I flipped Falon'Din so it's clearer they're mirror-ish but also both their domains are dualistic.

Andruil statue crown is a U-shape with flared-out tops, resembling a stylized bow. The symbols are similar flared U shape or an arc of a circle with ends pointed upward (complementing Ghilan'nain)
Sylaise crown is a seven-pointed half-circle burst like a stylized sunrise or sunset. Symbols may be exactly that, or a seven petal flower, or possibly more like three lines more horizontal each side instead of radiating and one pointing at top.
June is a very stylized U shape with the bottom almost horizontal, then rising inward until finally rising straight up with only a narrow gap. Symbols would be like this, possibly with more rounded or pointed curves.

Gold triangle pointed downward. There are pointed 'ears' or horns along the top edge, forming a U shape in the middle. This resembles the bow of Andruil.
Sylaise mask is the only diamond shape. Top half is vaguely arrow shaped with two eyes. The bottom half has two shapes curving to the sides that could be either side profiles of two swaddled babies or the swaddling could refer to flame, as she was goddess of the hearth and home.
June is a triangle pointed up, with eye ovals horizontal along bottom. There's a two-halved 'helmet' with a silver 'gap' between the prongs at the top with a 'nose piece' that also extends below the triangle.
Then we have Mythal and Elgar'nan's set of three kids, from the left sisters Andruil and Sylaise, and brother June (the latter two of whom may have been married, or possibly were married and that is why June is also considered a son.)

Above, a patina bronze 'crown' that goes on top of a statue. It's an almost full circle, connected at the bottom but each side sharpens to a point that don't quite meet at the top. Sun/moon/eclipse symbolism again. Below possible symbols hand-drawn poorly, both a circle with a small gap at the top and a full circle.
Ghilan'nain crown is an arc of about a quarter circle, the ends pointing down. Symbols are either a plain arc or the arc with a downward line/wedge from the center

Triangular gold masks, Mythal is smaller at top with point upwards and with a silvery arrow shape making up that point. Two oval eye shapes and the silvery metal pointed over the nose. Elgar'nan is a larger one with the point down. Eye shapes and mouth oval shape. There is a V shape in the top part, and between the eyes a silvery circle with a gold triangle pointed down inside it. This would be Elg's helmet and control over the sun and moon.
Fen'Harel is a downward triangle with two small triangles like a canine face with ears. Six teal eyes, which is typical depiction.
Ghilan'nain all gold with point down. There is a small bezel and a smaller triangle pushed out. There are pointed oval eyes set in the edge between the bezel and inner triangle. On the top bezel there are carved shapes like halla horns, the mother of halla being an epithet.
So on the left this is probably Mythal (top) and Elgar'nan (bottom), pun very intended.
Then we have Fen'Harel (Mythal's lover and partner in crime) and Ghilan'nain (Elgar'nan's who the fuck knows but some sort of partner in crime)

My most enduring #VeilguardGripes is that they keep calling kossith Qunari. Now there's not just one but TWO groups that are not Qunari: the (Tal-)Vashoth, and the Antaam who are no longer followers of the Qun.

On left an elf statue with a gold helmet or crown shape that's hard to interpret from his angle. On the right, above the entrance to the Lighthouse Library, there's another elven evanuris symbol, a half sphere with seven rays (left, right, up, and two between each) and possibly another smaller extension downwards.

In our series "small and probably inconsequential elven details", in the loading screen the statue on the left has a crown (maybe Ghilan'nain?) but not in-game. The one above the door (Sylaise?) is present, as are others like Mythal. Why?

A cropped image showing the first rotating layer of the Lighthouse. The underside of that layer is made up of concentric circles that are set at different levels, lower at the bottom as though the circles on top of each circle are slightly larger than the previous. There are 5 of these circles visible. Underneath it on two sides are gray stone rectangles with a sawtooth or step pattern that fits against the depth differences of the concentric circles rotating above it.
Ok so this is an extremely tenuous one but I have a theory that these grooves and ‘needles’ produce a resonance (like a vinyl record, though not necessarily audible).

A very old-looking possibly parchment or vellum piece behind glass. There are simple lines that zigzag in a pattern that resembles a map of a cave system or something similar to it, with larger oblong hexagonal marks at the end of some 'tunnels'. The lines are also drawn using mostly specific angles (eights of a circle, or 45-degree sectors) rather than arbitrarily.
Is this the origin of the Nevarran writing system? Maps?
