Sit down with a cuppa and watch this interesting story about a woman who followed her husband to war by @gwilymsmum.bsky.social

That’s brilliant Fiona! Congratulations ❤️
FFW is an amazing project. Thank you for your contribution, and the team at #FewForgottenWomen for sharing the stories of all these women. They will not stay hidden in the shadows any longer ❤️
It’s a #FewForgottenWomen Friday! Look forward to a day of research and marmalade-making! @afewforgottenwomen.bsky.social
I was *supposed* to be working on my first #FewForgottenWomen profile this #ForgottenWomenFriday, but unfortunately I double-booked it with a migraine. If anyone needs a hand with the (Northern) Irish records, I'm happy to help, though it probably won't be today.
Have fun! Even though I’m not working today, life is a bit hectic here right now so I’ve sat this one out. I look forward to reading the stories though!

A word cloud made out of women’s names who were working in the linen industry in Ulster at the time of the 1901 Census
Excited to be taking part in my first #FewForgottenWomen today. The woman I’m researching was lodging not far from where my grandfather was living at the time of the 1901 census so it feels a little bit like going home.

Mary A Breen who was lodging at Derrytrasna on the southern shore of Lough Neagh. The old pier there was once a hub for fishing but you might get your feet wet if tried standing on in the present day. #FewForgottenWomen
@afewforgottenwomen.bsky.social are out and about today at the @shropshirefhs.bsky.social Talking Family History Live day.
Great talk on what the #FewForgottenWomen team is all about by Ann - @gwilymsmum.bsky.social
We also have a stall with Ann and Margaret @researchdogsbody.bsky.social
Talk about a different story to the usual - her widower died leaving over £35 000!!!! #FewForgottenWomen
Working on #FewForgottenWomen. It's rather a nice change not to have a difficult, tragic story to follow! This has reinforced the need to search in different ways, and on different sites! The 'General' search on Ancestry, and the 'Related' lead down two completely different paths ...
A word cloud made out of women’s names who were all born in the year 1819 in either Wem in Shropshire or Wells next the Sea in Norfolk.
And I’m up and running with today’s #FewForgottenWomen research project. I look forward to dropping into the @afewforgottenwomen.bsky.social Zoom call when I’ve made more progress.
The next #FewForgottenWomen collaborative research day is a week tomorrow - Friday 11 July. Inspired by @aldershot1853.bsky.social’s #Born1819 research, we will be researching women born in WellsNextTheSea or Wem in 1819 - the same year as Queen Victoria #GenHour
Congratulations to our incredible Few Forgotten Women #fewforgottenwomen member Fiona Movley, who has been awarded an MBE for Services to Charity in the King's Birthday Honours. bit.ly/FionaMovleyMBE

Looking forward to joining the #FewForgottenWomen project today. I have my subject’s name and can’t wait to find and tell her story. (Couple of errands to run first, then I shall be diving in!) @afewforgottenwomen.bsky.social
Looking forward to working on A Few Forgotten Women Friday tomorrow 4 April and beyond. Delving into the past #FewForgottenWomen

March 8th is International Women's Day. #FewForgottenWomen will be posting articles and podcast on their site www.fewforgottenwomen.com and also joining in the #AlfredGillettTrust event on Zoom
Is this a contender for unusual name of the week in #FamilyHistory #Genealogy research? I present to you Pleasant Holdaway - the grandmother of the #FewForgottenWomen subject I’ve rather neglected over the past few weeks.
Snap. My plan for the weekend is also Pharos study, #FewForgottenWomen and DNA matches. 🤣
Great job, Mandy! I had a FHS talk tonight, and tomorrow is my son’s birthday, so it’ll be the weekend before I can do any research. And even then I have to prioritise study, then my #FewForgottenWomen piece, my #OnePlaceStudy, the interesting new DNA matches … so much to do and not enough time! 😂
Come and join us on our Forgotten Friday #fewforgottenwomen #forgottenfriday
