“Let my people go” Moses shouted, but pharaoh did not listen. The blood red Nile flows north as it usually does, a giant statue of Ramses the Great floating on it, lifeless, some lone fishermen in their ship flow by. Hippopotamuses make battle and crocodiles bask on the limestone that makes the giant floating head. It’s the beginning of the end for Egypt if they don’t let the sons of Israel go.
