The preferred shot according to my in-house critic. Captured this near the end of a 1.5 hour drive in search of things that are kaput. To be honest, there is no shortage of kaput things out there! I used cropping here to highlight the kaputness of the barn cladding. Lightroom helped restore the image as it was somewhat washed out given the dull light of the day. After watching and reading the materials the Colin shared last week it was nice to learn that filling the frame can be done in a number of ways. Even though this isn't a closeup the subject still dominates the frame. This was my choice for the week...my in-house critic liked another shot more so will be posting two this week. Canon EOS 5D Mark IV with 100-400mm f4.5 lens 1/2000 sec @ f10 and ISO400 - 300mm focal length
