Back to #FlushingMeadowsPark. I didn't catch Basil snatching his lunch from the lake, but here he is a second or so later. I heard the splash, spun around, and started shooting :)

A large osprey in flight with a large carp clutched in it's talons

I was in #FlushingMeadowsPark all the way out in the wilds of #Queens yesterday when Basil dropped in to grab some lunch. This is how an #osprey picks up some #sushi. I think it's a #carp.
