I think I need to take a work break. I'm having a flare up again and it's been difficult to function, let alone work.

I'm already excited for shower time, which says a lot, considering it's usually my most daunting task.

Lupus can affect any part of the body; however, most people experience symptoms in only a few organs.
β€’ Lupus is an incurable chronic autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in various parts of the body. The disease can range from mild to life-threatening.
β€’ The cause of lupus is unknown. Scientists believe that individuals are genetically predisposed to lupus, and that environmental factors "trigger" the symptoms.
β€’ 90% of people with lupus are women, 80% of them developed lupus between ages 15 and 45.
β€’ With proper treatment, most people with lupus can live a normal life span.

Thanks to flare-up pain only letting me have just 2 hours of sleep, I’m a cranky dragon today. At least the migraines are behaving themselves - barely any migraine activity since starting #ajovy πŸŽ‰

This is a good opportunity to spread #lupusawareness. πŸ’œ
