A triple exposed image, the first layer were the freshly foraged ramps on what paper. Second layer was the graffiti wall that says "you dont belong where you are" and chain link fence. Third layer was the cat sticker on white paper. The cat came in nice with the shadows to give it that hidden look.

Pictured, a disjointed chain link fence with caution tape attached and a pile of trash at the base of it with an American flag flying in the background. The death of a nation is rarely pretty. This image I think shows the death of ours nicely. As a country we failed to meet the needs of the time. We actively argued against climate change, leaving us in the dust on green technology. An Industry that could have saved areas like the coal and steel belt. We could have offered them a new industry instead of lying to them about a dying industry coming back. The caution tape speaks to the deregulation and the violence, all the violence. The fence that doesn't connect speaks to our infrastructure. Basically, what I saw was a nation exploited in the name of profit, that is now just a flag over a pile of trash.
