I miss Wes Rucker. Had to listen to the first ten minutes of the Vols/Vandy game on the radio because Mizzou/Ark ran into OT, and it would've been nice to get updates from Wes at the game.

I managed to take this black and white photo in an important historical town between Holland and Germany. Although I took it in the busy centre, there was this one old alleyway, so inconspicuous but still so significant in itself, where this (probably) pilgrim woman walked past the cathedral church. The church can only be seen in a narrow section in the midday light, which emphasises its size again and makes the woman appear very small and lonely. The pale light comes from the dark alleyway and makes the scenery look like an old painting from the 19th century, which radiates the atmosphere of loneliness and silence!
The silence wanders between the old streets, it frees the soul but makes the heart heavy.
