3️⃣ Cross-regional efforts are gaining traction at #IGWG5. Some Member States are bringing joint text proposals on definitions (Norway & Dominican Republic) and governance (Canada & Nepal). Many have welcomed this as a constructive model to move discussions forward.
Midway through #IGWG5, pressure is mounting to finalise the #PABS Annex so the #PandemicAgreement can move toward ratification. Yet progress appears stalled, as @who.int Member States continue seeking consensus on how to operationalise PABS.
