Accidentally scythed this flower head and then subsequently lost it in the grass collection.

Any clues on what plant or plant family I was looking at? Single long stem stalk with almost 'Allium family' like cluster of flowers on top.

Braved the very back reed fields on our property today. While armpits deep in the reeds and grass I found this amazing patch of Stitchwort (video before I took a sample for the herbarium).

Cowslips, wild Irish native flowers, green stems with drooping delicate yellow flowers

The most beautiful flowers in my garden are back. Warms my heart to see them every Spring, each time getting just one or two extra stems, a number crop of 15 stems so far this year.
