It's amazing how much of the crisp, fine detail is hidden by more than a century's built-up of thick paint. This is on Queen's Drive on the Southside of Glasgow.

A black and white photograph of some of the remaining iron railings around Baytree Rec' Weston-super-Mare, UK. The theme has a repeating pattern motif, from left to right, of a reversed S scroll, a large square tapering upward needle and a Straight S scroll. These three uprights held in place by a top and bottom horizontal rail. Though the railings have been occasionally painted they are not well maintained and indeed in places have already been replaced with modern - inferior - metal railings.
