The theme has a repeating pattern motif, from left to right, of a reversed S scroll, a large square tapering upward needle and a Straight S scroll. These three uprights held in place by a top and bottom horizontal rail. Though the railings have been occasionally painted they are not well maintained and indeed in places have already been replaced with modern - inferior - metal railings.

A black and white photograph taken Thursday, 18th January 2024 from the shore at Sand Bay, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, UK. Thursday PM, 18th January 2024. It is a cold though beautiful sunny afternoon. The scene is one of looking up over grasses, bushes and scrub at the back of beach in which is an obscured pillbox, of which we can see only the roof venting against a blue sky. There is a telegraph pole on either end and near the edges of the frame. Some of the telephone wires are connected and some disconnected just hanging done loosely. All this is again a blue sky which is graduated darker at the uppermost of the frame.
