A black ranunculus sweater lays on a dusty- brick- red duvet cover. The sweater body is complete while the arms are sitting on waste yarn, and ready to be knitted next.
The black ranunculus being tried on my the knitter who is too old for a cropped sweater and happens to be wearing blue/multi plaid pajama pants. The knitting looks good because it was already blocked before the hem was knitted to determine the proper length to work before the hem
The ranunculus being tried on with yarn hanging from the arm openings had not been blocked yet and looks a bit mushy at this stage
My grown daughter finally has her own personal knitwear creator! I'm working on my third #Ranunculus in a cropped black alpaca version this time, especially for her!
I love this aspect of my currently mostly dismal and fucked up life the most!

A little tip for knitting.
You can make knitting a tad easier if you start using yarn from the end inside your skein. Then your yarn won't bounce around or get tangled anywhere.
