Did someone call? These #Myrmecia species checking me out to see if I’m a threat!

I'm really curious if anyone who lives in Australia has seen lone bull ants stumbling back home in the dawn. Navigating by landmarks is a pretty big cognitive achievement for a little ant, and so if you see a bull ant going home like this she's doing her best!

𝘔𝘺𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘢 is another gorgeous ant found in Australia that I've had the pleasure of working with. They're anywhere from 15-25 mm and kind of fuzzy*!
