#MaceoSnipes, who had served in the US Army for 2 & 1/2 yrs during #WWII was shot multiple times at his own front door. “Severely wounded & assisted by his mom, Mr. Snipes walked for several miles searching for help before he was finally transported to a hospital in Butler & admitted for care.
