oh, how I long
for the monotony
of normality.
the reliability
of routine.
spare me from
the injury of
the illicit.
the memory of
madness.
that I may find
a sanctuary serene.

I’ll try to make this as dull as I can. Use words of one part. Flat, all the same note or tone, but then I have to squeeze in the prompt word and it all goes wrong. It’s the same thing, day in day out, makes me want to give up. You do your best and what do you get? Nowt. #Monotonous.
