I finished the transition part of the border. The yellow wave in stockinette is all done, so from this point all the WS knitting is in knit for a non-curling garter stitch result 😃

The remaining stitches have been corrected to garter stitch. I dropped it down, and worked it back up in garter stitch for the remaining triangles. It helps that there is only plain knitting, and no slipped stitches here! 😃

I transitioned from stockinette to garter stitch, but the top stitch of the green band needed correction. Do you see the small green triangles? On the left, I changed a yellow stitch to garter stitch, it bothered me too much! 😆

If you want the fix of colorwork but want to work flat, #MosaicKnitting is a great option. This pattern alternates sections to keep things interesting. There's a dk and a fingering weight version, and either can be worked as a cowl or scarf. #MenWhoKnit 🧶
