A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, for Aitkin, Ashland, Bayfield, Carlton, Cook, Douglas, Iron, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, Pine, and St. Louis counties.  These areas of the Northland will see some minor ice and/or snow accumulation that will lead to slick road conditions as the storm system passes through the region.

An active jet stream will bring a couple rounds of showers through the Northland this weekend. The first is Saturday morning with rain, sleet, and snow, with the second Saturday night and Sunday morning with snow and sleet.  Temperatures will be a wide range for highs Saturday, ranging from the low 40s along the North Shore to the 60s in the I-35 Corridor.  We all cool to the 30s for highs Sunday.
