🌿Felt one with nature today in Golden Gate Park. Joined the SF Sketchers & did some #urbansketching #pleinair #naturejournaling of an historic Pioneer Log Cabin. The Pioneer Log Cabin was built as a meeting house for the Association of Pioneer Women of California in 1911 and expanded in 1931.

Got some good art time today! Lichen sketch at a #naturejournaling workshop by Mass Audubon, and then first try printing with my new little hand press. I have mixed feelings about easycut material (as opposed to traditional #linocut) but perhaps I need to adjust my expectations.

Crowded nature journal page about the silver birch tree (Betula pendula). It's drawn in pencil and ink and colored with watercolor.
