At Cafe Renka. A Japanese-style sweets set called the “Renka Set”. In the front left, four skewers of Kushi Dango (soft rice dumplings on sticks) are neatly arranged, each with three dumplings. In the front right, Monaka shells (crisp wafers made from steamed and baked glutinous rice flour and water) are placed alongside Dorayaki pancakes (two round, sponge-like cake discs). Behind the dango, small dishes contain matcha powder and kinako (roasted soybean flour), allowing for different flavour combinations. Further back, there is Warabi Mochi (a soft, jelly-like sweet made from bracken starch) served with fresh cream. Next to the warabi mochi is Azuki (sweetened red beans), and behind it sits a Daifuku (a soft rice cake filled with red bean paste).
