I’m a big fan of @talkscaredpod.bsky.social and always enjoy @natcassidy.bsky.social when he’s a guest so I picked up #Nestlings (has it been reviewed Neil?) and finished it today. Really enjoyed and need to get a copy of Mary.
iPhone to simplify my effort. Mom and Dad Bluebird will be in and out with very little incubation now. It is 20˚C(68˚F) on the island a few miles away and now cloudy but sunny earlier so the chicks should be warm enough. (almost)Always windy here. I walked to the box when neither parent was spooked from the box so not much disturbance and took about a minute to do these.

Various possibilities include failed egg, failed hatching, dead hatchling or just tired. As I plan no close look, time will tell and it may not be till post fledging or ever that we get a decent idea. This 4 mouths is not unusual from the 5 eggs. I was slow in getting here as they probably hatched on Friday+/-
