Migration is significant for @thercot.bsky.social

1930 Patricia Sunderland, Irish mental nurse was one of the first #OccupationalTherapists in Wales @whitchurchhospital.bsky.social and in Uk.

Is this one of the reasons why her contribution has been neglected?

Hey #OccupationalTherapists ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿพ

Which specialism/s have you never worked in but have been interested in? I've got a couple - palliative care, mental health rehab, wheelchair services

I worked very closely with #OccupationalTherapists as a mental health social worker, so I knew their approach was practical, holistic, and person-centred.
The way we function in our day to day lives is never purely physical. Itโ€™s also emotional, psychological, spiritual, and uniquely individual.
