A tree snag can been seen in the foreground. Mid ground is tan grassland and Ponderosa Pine in the Rocky Mountain Trench near Cranbrook BC. The ground is partly covered in snow. The background is snowy Steeple Mountain Range (Part of the Rockies) with wispy clouds of cold air shrouding the peaks in winter afternoon sun.
