Photograph taken before the open doorway to the fancy orangery at Lyme Park, Cheshire. A stone doorframe with open cream-coloured wooden door and tall clear glass panels either side give a view into a plant-filled orangery. Patterned tiles on the floor lead the eye to the central circular, multi-tiered fountain. Tall tree fern leaves stretch over above the scene and into frame, trapped in their warmth by the glass ceiling. Lots of other green plants at lower levels. Took ages to get this shot without too many visitors in frame. In the end I got bored of waiting so blocked the entrance with my poise 😂. Lyme Park is a lovely day out and the fictional TV home of Mr Darcy. Run by the National Trust.

An angled view of a deep recessed window inside a brick orangery with greenery glimpsed through the window outside and a large leafed banana plant on the inside. On the deep windowsill are four Sylvanian Families babies looking at the banana plant. On the right is Pancakes, a giraffe baby, then Pickle, a grey striped cat baby, then Oatmeal, a milk rabbit baby. And finally a tiny cradled black cat baby. It's Reggie!

We are in a orange house.

Photograph taken of the empty stone water fountain in the orangery at Lyme Park, Cheshire (of Mr Darcy striding soggily from the lake fame). A fern in sharp focus takes the top right corner to the centre putting everything else into soft focus. Fountain as a large bowl at the bottom with a smaller decorative bowl above with a cherub figure standing in the middle. Glass roof overhead and plants growing up the wall. Mr Darcy wasn't at home much to the disappointment of the Jane Austen fans swarming about the place in costume from the fancy dress room (I kid you not), and my mother.

A balanced picture with a paved walkway with a side that bisects the picture horizontally. Above the pavement is green grass with dark green bushes; both are the length of the picture. There are some leafless trees behind the row of bushes that reach beyond the frame. They cover a partially cloudy but mostly blue sky. On the pavement close to the camera is the edge of a small white structure. It covers 3/4 of the height of the picture, from the top, and is on the right side of the framing. Protruding from the bottom of this structure is a small dark grey glove, forgotten on the pavement.
