I love @notion.com and I love sharing Notion tips even more! Check out this post for a note taking evolution from #pag32
📝🧬 Like genomes shaped by selective pressures, document systems evolve, too! At #PAG32, our founder @olgabot refined conference talk note-taking from simple bullet points to integrated notes with slides.

Seanome's first conference #PAG32 is in the books! We dove into #genome annotation, #biodiversity #sequencing, and feeding the world. Our founder + CEO @olgabot.bsky.social presented a talk and poster on annotating proteins of unknown function. Catch the recap here! https://buff.ly/3CfKxYY
Had a great time at #pag32 with lots of great talks. After a cancelled flight I am finally home, hope all other PAGers on that flight have managed the same.

#pag32 was a great experience! So many cool people, talks, and posters. Plus I got to see one of these guys for the first time!
Sunny San Diego at the end of the PAG32 meeting.
🧪🧬 That's a wrap on #PAG32!
One of our key takeaways?
There is a ton of opportunity for #epigenomics assays like CUT&RUN and CUT&Tag to help advance plant and animal research!

A lot of pangenome graph at #PAG32
But even this can be too much, especially since many genomic analyses often focus on genes. One great example for analyzing and visualizing how genes vary in a pangenome is GENESPACE (this came up over and over again at #PAG32 | #PAG2025) elifesciences.org/articles/785...
My favorite conference of the year is over.
#pag32 was a blast as always.
From mammoth to mussels, from thylacine to tea!
A big thank you to everyone who joined us at #PAG32! It was fantastic to meet so many passionate researchers in plant and animal genomics. We look forward to continuing to explore the potential of PacBio #HiFisequencing with all of you! #PacBio
Final day at #PAG32 so had a morning walk along the San Diego river behind the convention centre. Happy to refind yesterday's Yellow Warbler (description species here). Also, Western Bluebirds, Black Phoebe, and Oregon Junco (pictured) along with lots of other good stuff. Off to Texas soon.
There were remarkable updates presented at #PAG32 on incredibly accurate @nanoporetech.com sequencing for applications ranging from telomere-to-telomere plant & animal genome assemblies, to amplicon sequencing at massive scale. Here are some highlights in case you missed them (thread)
It was a great time at #PAG32 meeting old friends, finding new ones, listening to great science and sharing some of my own. Looking forward to next year!
So long San Diego! Here’s my opinionated meeting report from #PAG2025 | #PAG32. What else did I miss???
Sunset on Mission Beach in San Diego. My dim silhouette sits idly left of center frame, forgotten adjacent to the setting sun
Another year, another successful trip to #PAG32. Attended several talks that will affect the way I carry out my work for the better. Meeting old friends and making new ones also brings me joy. Though I had a lot of fun, I can't wait to see my dog again 😭. Until next year ✌️
Great plenary talk from Dan Voytas on plant genome editing at scale. #PAG32
Great time at #PAG32 catching up with old friends/mentors (Lavretsky Lab) and making new friends with @pbentz.bsky.social (and many others).
Awesome to see all of the great work being done with #PacBio HiFi #longreads in the #PAG32 long read sequencing in plant #microbiome research workshop! #16S #metagenomics #MAGs #microbial #WGS
Great talk by @eugeniecyen.bsky.social on the turtle project at #pag32
Michael Alaux @inrae-france.bsky.social URGI presenting the WheatIS Data Discovery Tool #IWGSC workshop #PAG32
Great presentation by Catalina Johnson describing the genome curation she performed as part of her #IWGSC undergraduate summer internship on the Wheat Diversity project #PAG32
@gingerhowley.bsky.social presenting at #pag32 on ancient brucella infections
Ashima Relan presenting her work on identifying chromosomal regions and candidate genes controlling wheat grain yield and its component traits under terminal heat stress #IWGSC workshop #PAG32
