A close up photo of the dorsal side of a tan and brown spider resting on some light blue painted wood. The spider's prosoma, the front section of the body, is flat like a crab, its tan in the middle, and brown on the sides. His eyes arranged in 2 rows along the front. The long slender legs tan with brown stripes, which have spine-like hairs, extending from this area as do the slender pedipalps. The opisthosoma, the spider's rear body, is tan and mottled with darker brown areas.

A photo of a the dorsal side of a very leggy tan spider resting on some light blue siding. The spider's prosoma (front part of the body) is tan in the middle and darker brown on the sides. The Opisthosoma (rear part of body) is tan with mottled darker brown markings. The legs are slender and long in relation to the body and are tan with darker brown banding. The second set of legs are longer than the other sets, a defining characteristic of the Philodromidae.

A photo f a orange-brown spider resting on light blue painted house siding, snacking on a fly. The photo was taken low and from the spider's front, 3 of it's small black eyes are visible at the crown of its head, ot's long legs, covered in small black hairs are spread around it. The fly it is snacking on is tan with brown rings around its abdominal segments.

This #SelfCare #PSA brought to you by #Philodromus floridensis (I think) who in particular wants to remind y'all to avoid the #Hangries and snack regularly.
