Looking into the front passenger seat of my car. There is a pole mounted to the seat, occupying a good chunk of the leg space. An IC-7300 is mounted to an arm attached to the pole, on the left, partially above the shifter. A monitor is also attached to the pole, blocking most of the view out the front windshield. Various tools, cables, bits, and bobs are strewn about.

Took yesterday afternoon to do another #POTA activation at US-3511. Beautiful day, bands were good. If only people would try not to zero beat my frequency with CW. Plenty of times I was left trying to find even one character in a call. #hamradio #amateurradio #parksontheair

An open area in a State Park. The air is foggy; visibility is perhaps 100 feet. Some bare trees loom in the fog. The grass is mostly covered by brown fallen leaves, and dotted with patches of snow. To the right is the ham pod. Near the center of the photo is a red post with an antenna strung from it to yellow poles in the distance. A grey coaxial cable is visible leading from the red post, headed toward the ham pod. A picnic table can be spotted in the middle distance.

My second #ParksOnTheAir park was yesterday. I opted for a closer park this time, and got there around 19:00Z. I set up in a grassy spot with a nice straight-line open area in which to erect the antenna, and logged my first park-to-park at 19:37Z.
