The long, long, missing rail from the barrier on East Hill obviously wasn't the biggest of issue in #Colchester let alone #Essex.
But hey. It's now sorted...

#EssexHighways were quickly on scene to undertake a temporary 'make safe' repair after we reported this seriously damaged pavement outside #TheOldSiegeHouse on East Street.
We're now looking forward to full, permanent, reinstatement...

For some years now there's been a steel lamppost outside 9 North Hill that was noticeably leaning backwards.
It's taken a long, long time, but we're delighted that @EssexHighways have now sorted it and the post is now vertical.

Essex Highways have been busy recently undertaking pavement & kerb repairs along North Station Road from Middleborough to the Essex Hall Roundabout.
We've lost track of the number of defects we reported but, #PraiseWherePraiseIsDue, many are now sorted.

Its taken rather longer than it should have done, but we're delighted to report that at last @EssexHighways have now replaced the damaged guardrails on Queen Street which we reported.

We reported a damaged 'crested' bollard on North Hill that looked to have been struck by a vehicle to the folk at Colchester City Council.
It didn't take long before they told us they'd fixed it.

The 'temporary' plastic barriers that have long been a feature under North Station Bridge, have at last, been replaced by permanent metal guardrails by the folk @EssexHighways.

We're pleased to report that the folk @EssexHighways have now replaced the seriously leaning 'one way' sign outside St Peter's Church on North Hill.
Its taken a while, too long really, but hey let's be positive, it's been done now.

It's great to see that @EssexHighways have just replaced the damaged guardrails and lit 'give way' sign at the pelican crossing by the Albert Roundabout after they'd been struck by a vehicle.

There's been some great progress with the repaint of #Colchester's grade ll listed North Bridge by @essexhighways .
The job's not finished yet - the railings before and after the bridge are yet to be tackled...

#SeenReportedSorted We reported this damaged concretebollard in Nunn's Road in the. Dutch Quarter to the folk @EssexHighways. Its now been replaced by a 'heritage' iron/steel bollard bearing the #Colchester arms.

It took rather longer to sort than perhaps it should, but #PraiseWherePraiseIsDue, we'd like to say a big 'thank you' to the team @EssexHighways for replacing the damaged guard rails on Magdalen Street at the junction with Brook Street.

• Over 600 slabs replaced
• Re-grouted 3000 square metres of slabbed area
• Re-sealed over 3500 square metres
• Over 90 shifts to complete the work

We reported a fallen 'chevron' sign on the Albert Roundabout to the folk @EssexHighways on 15 December. Today we see it's been re-erected.
