An expressionist rose made from layers of blueish print fabrics cut in wobbly shapes to resemble petals, stacked atop each other, decreasing in size laying on a work surface with scissors and scraps of fabric at the edges.
5 1/2 French roses (as previously described) lay against black fabric on a cluttered work table. The fabrics used are reds and pinks, blues, purples, and turquoise, and varied prints some floral, others space or sea shells.
I cut out a new #FrenchRose to join a small pile I've been making for a quilted jacket I've been dreaming up, in anticipation of getting my sewing machine back from the shop finally today. But I should get back to work assembling the rainbow quilt top still laid out
