Rectangular rainbow banner edged with pink and light blue fabric, white squares in the corners. The perimeter is brown in Moda Grunge fabric. Twenty white hearts with their centers removed are scattered across the banner in various sizes. The banner hangs from an old laundry line.

A new banner for today's #NoKings protest. Fifty-five by forty-five inches, the hearts are attached by a running stitch. 💗🌈💗Hoping to add more hearts as necessary.

"No Place to Fly" by Willie Nelson inspired Chapter 18 of Splitting the Sky. The quilt below, from 2023, was for a woman who eased my brother-in-law onto another plane. Death doulas are amazing people. RIP Stan and thank you Margaret.
