Treecreeper hunting for spiders under a log at Titchwell today. Apparently they weigh about 10 grams #RSPBTitchwell
A Eurasian Oystercatcher walks along a sandy beach shoreline. The bird has striking black and white plumage, a vivid orange-red bill, red eyes, and pink-red legs. Choppy blue-grey waves break in the soft-focus background.

The Brent Goose. Breeds up in northern Russia, wintering in some places in the U.K.
The light was gorgeous, seeing this goose caught in the evening sunlight. #brentgeese #rspbtitchwell
Well, finally managed to get out birding yesterday and had a great day. Highlights #RSPBTitchwell were 3 Long-tailed Ducks and Red-breasted Merganser on the sea, #Holkham Hume’s Warbler and Russian White-fronted Geese, probable Taiga Bean Goose at North Point Pools…

Finished the day at #RSPBTitchwell today, where we had far better light than yesterday and saw these beauties. No photo as my battery died, but saw two Bearded Tits too #UKBirding
When I leave my camera at home, things like this happen.

Birding highlight of this afternoon at #RSPBtitchwell with @JimAshton_ we’re these two very obliging Purple Sandpipers. Feeding right at the top of the beach. Easy to miss if you were watching only the birds along the shore (as some were doing). Remember to look everywhere!
Had a great day at #RSPBtitchwell with @JimAshton_ Failed to find Firecrest or Yellow-browed Warbler on the trails this AM, but was chuffed to find this Emerald Willow Damselfly sat up in trees (typical habit for this species) along Meadow Trail (phonescope image from distance)
