#OnThisDay #HappyBirthday to #RustyEgan (born 19 September 1957 in London), former drummer for the British #Newwave band #RichKids & one of the #80s #NewRomantic pioneers. He worked with Midge Ure, been part of Visage and founding Blitz nightclub.

Rusty Egan’s birthday reminds me of his New Wave band Rich Kids that also had Glen Matlock on bass and Midge Ure on vocals/guitar.

Here’s a great performance by them on ‘Revolver’ in 1978.
