Lovely morning for a bike ride along the Spurn peninsula. My first trip of the year and a chance to see the storm damage at the north end. Bit quiet for birds, but glorious weather #Spurn

Quite an uneventful WeBS at #Spurn for me; 20 Whoopers on the Straight of note. Still 8 Russian ‘fronts and a Barnacle around, but 2 Ravens u-turning at the Warren undoubtedly the highlight #phonescoped

Had another look at the Russian Whitefronts in the Triangle at #Spurn this afternoon (53 + 4 Barnacles) and had this lovely Tundra Bean with Greylags on Easington Straight as we drove home. Close to road at first; but distant in fading light when we got back with camera 😐 @birdguides.bsky.social

Spent a couple of hours strolling round a very breezy Spurn this morning.
A skulking Yellow-browed warbler and a male blackcap gorging on haws were the highlights.
