Yes, I am petty. @ucu.org.uk members, please do not give any #SWP member elected power in the union. They do not have the best interests of the broad membership at the heart of their mission. Their tenure controlling #NEC has been a string of public failures. NO to ANY #UCULeft candidates.

Unchristliche Offensive Syrer zurück nach Syrien, Ukrainer ab an die Front und Reform der Arbeitnehmerfreizügigkeit in der EU - das sind Forderungen, die christlich-soziale Bundestagspolitiker in einem Positionspapier versammelt haben. Was Syrien betrifft, das jetzt angeblich wieder sicher ist, hat die CSU offenbar den Kampf mit der Realität verloren. Für viele Syrer, vor allem für Alawiten, Kurden oder Christen, wäre eine Rückkehr lebensgefährlich - und für fast alle wäre es eine Reise in bittere Armut. Umgekehrt würde hierzulande sehr schnell das Fehlen von syrischen Ärzten, Pflegekräften oder Handwerkern bemerkt werden, wenn man den CSU-Vorstellungen folgte. Und wie christlich ist es eigentlich, wenn man besonders junge Ukrainer auch dann zum Sterben in den Krieg schicken will, wenn sogar die ukrainische Regierung deren Ausreise ins Ausland erlaubt? Dass die bayerischen Unionspolitiker glauben, dass ihre Forderungen demnächst umgesetzt werden, ist nicht anzunehmen. Auch sie sind schließlich Teil einer Koalition. Was soll das Papier dann? Wenn man damit die AfD auf Abstand halten will, sollte es auch bis Bayern durchgesickert sein, dass es so nicht funktioniert.
