Just in time for #LighthouseSeason, repairs at the 1858 Cap-des-Rosiers #Lighthouse at the mouth of the #SaintLawrenceRiver in #Québec, #Canada have been completed. There may, however, still be limitations placed on the number of visitors allowed at any given time.

The lighthouse, in the municipality of Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs, was built in 1809; it is the oldest lighthouse on the #SaintLawrenceRiver and the third oldest in Canada. A 17m (55') cylindrical stone tower, it is still an active aid to navigation.
