Spoiler alert: 5% permethrin cream was more effective than oral Ivermectin at treating #scabies, although it had a (slightly) higher rate of causing skin problems.
That said, oral Ivermectin is still recommended when it isn't practical to apply cream over the entire body (a remarkable drug indeed!)

#Scabies we've an exceptionally passive treatment approach to these mites. The article shows, our 'busy lives' are all but destroyed trying to cope. To me, the cure today lies in having something far more mite attractive attached to host (device/patches) drawing the mites out & into it for killing.
