Second Ward School 1882-2014 This bell marks the site of Latrobe's first high school. This building also housed elementary classes and later the district administration offices.

"This bell first summoned students to Latrobe High School at this sight in the autumn of 1882. It remains a tribute to those scholars whose success began with a valued education."

The original Rt. 22 through New Alexandria in Pennsylvania. What used to be known as William Penn Highway, with a decaying railroad bridge overpass, which used to be part of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Long abandoned in the name of progress. As you can see, probably for the best. When we get excessive amounts of rain, the road floods. Which restricts access to the handful of houses beyond. And this is a very tame flood.
