The #GreatInfluenzaPandemic effectively began #ThisDayInHistory in 1918 when a first case was recorded in Kansas. Mistakenly called #SpanishFlu, the H1N1 influenza virus killed between 50 & 100 million people before ending in 1920. You'd think we might have learnt more from that.
