This photograph was taken at dusk in the Gion district of Kyoto, Japan, from a low angle. In the foreground, we can see some pavement stones in focus, and a subtle reflection of some lights off of the surface of the stones. In the background, all in blurry focus, we can see a variety of around two dozen white, yellow and orange to red lights from various buildings and a car. The overall mood is calm as a result of the rather warming tones cast by the various light sources.
