What a green jewel!
Tetragnatha pinicola, literally the โfour-jawed pine-dwellerโ, weaves an orb web with a hole in the middle. As a further distinction from regular, Araneidae-type orb weavers, T. pinicola builds its web not vertically but at an angle.
