I've rewatched #TheSwordandtheBrocade a few times. Wonderful writing and acting. Reminiscent of #Minglan for in depth treatment of the households of men with multiple wives i.e. first wife and concubines, and how women try to make decent lives out of that nightmare.

Yes it feels a little bit like HouMingHao must have felt being thrown in this mess of a family. As I love story with many househoukd members like #TheSwordAndTheBrocade or #StoryOfMinglan I'm used to know nothing in the start and constantly feeling confused about who's who..

I think my initial reluctance to watch this was because it's a harem #cdrama. Boo‼️to that 二娘 sister, that annoying mother of the ML 😑 and the ML's wife (she's v. pretty, tho).
Love the FL 🥰 and is it bad of me to (want to) pair her with him?🤔😅
