A view of Blackfriars Bridge from the south bank of the River Thames in London. The shot was taken from the west (upriver) of the bridge. Three spans are visible. There is a "water bus"(boat) going under the middle span. The dome of St. Paul's Cathedral can be seen in the distance over the middle span. The skyscrapers of The City of London can be seen rising in the distance over the right-most span.

Anecdotally, I was tired and not feeling great, but I was in a bit of a hurry to get to the airport. Crossing the bridge seemed like it would take a long time, but it only took a couple of minutes. There is a slight arch on the surface of the bridge, so the first minute took a small bit of extra effort. The middle was nice and flat. The end sloped down slightly. Nice stroll on a dry spring day!

Black and white architectural photograph showing ornate Victorian brickwork with multiple arches layered at different depths. The composition features decorative columns with detailed capitals, intricate brick patterns including checkerboard designs, and curved archways creating a complex geometric interplay. A balustrade with repeating balusters runs horizontally through the lower portion, while ribbed ceiling details are visible in the upper right. The monochromatic treatment emphasizes the texture and dimensional depth of the historic masonry construction.

An ornate architectural ceiling photographed from directly below, featuring an elaborate geometric design. The centerpiece consists of four symmetrical panels arranged in a 2x2 grid, each containing a cross-shaped pattern with pale blue backgrounds and beige molding. Small decorative medallions sit at the center of each cross. The panels are separated by a horizontal red band adorned with white floral rosettes. Intricate chevron and leaf patterns frame the entire composition. The surrounding walls display checkered stonework in beige and gray tones, creating a tunnel-like perspective that draws the eye upward to the decorated ceiling vault
