Merchant & Mills Etta dress made as a toile from an IKEA duvet cover dyed navy after making up. I need to sort out the bodice - I made so many adjustments but I worked on altering the pattern rather than adapting my bodice block. Drag lines might just be due to my over zealous tightening of the ties, but I suspect not. FBAs are an ever growing learning curve. Huge pockets and swish. In The Folds stripey top (Vinted).

An old Toast needlecord very loose shirt/smock type dress which I bought new in the sale. It was golden syrup coloured, but drained me (thanks to John Lewis I now know why), so I dyed it navy a few months ago - it came out this odd dark khaki. While I loved it on the (size 6 probs) model, it never really felt like a £200 dress on me. It was a sack, albeit a very comfortable sack. Today I've tried it with a belt, again thanks to John Lewis and it feels MUCH better. Must buy more belts.
