My love of nature comes first — my art is an act of devotion. From childhood, I’ve gathered small wonders and held them close. Even when I can’t linger outdoors, nature still finds me — in my studio, in memory, in making. Nature warms my heart. We are never truly apart.

On a winter wander, I met a mossy Loch Ness monster — dozing among fallen leaves, halfway between myth and moss.
No monster at all, but a living root, softened by mosses and lichens, sheltering small lives.
